KATIE ROGERS
BA, BSW, MSW
Registered Social Worker (RSW) (SK) #4105
Hello. I am a registered social worker who received my Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary. I was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan but moved around to many places before settling back in the prairies!
My approach to counselling involves creating a safe and authentic relationship where you can express yourself freely and we can explore together. I am here to support you through difficult periods, create positive change, and to help you understand yourself more deeply.
I enjoy working with people of all ages.
FOR CLIENTS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES & NEURODIVERGENCE
I have both personal and professional experience with children and youth who are neurodivergent including FASD and intellectual disabilities. I take a holistic approach and believe in supporting the entire family unit.
I enjoy bringing creative expression into sessions such as music, art, literature, etc., especially with children and youth. I have a special interest in the impacts of trauma and how we can find healing and live a fulfilling life.
