JODY BENDER
M.Ed., Registered Psychologist
I offer comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for children and youth and provide strategies to support learning and development based on each individual's unique strengths and needs. With extensive experience working in Indigenous communities, I am well equipped to support children and youth with diverse backgrounds and remain culturally sensitive in my practice. I possess a strong passion for exploring the impact of trauma on learning and development, and therefore, I consider rapport building and relationships to be at the heart of my practice.
I am happy to offer in-person assessments for learning disabilities, language disorders, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and behavioral concerns.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my five children, coaching CrossFit classes, gardening, or doing any outdoor activity that does not involve winter!
