I have a Master in Education, focusing on educational change and Indigenous studies. I also have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
I have worked with children, youth and their families for over 20 years within the education system.
I incorporate holistic, experiential therapies that embrace the mind, body, heart, and soul into my counselling practice.
I am originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario, but have lived in Saskatchewan for almost half my life. I call both beautiful northern Saskatchewan and Saskatoon my home. The things that make me happy are sunshine on a cold day, music I can sing along to, and connecting with my family.
I live my life in a bit of a paradox: I am deathly allergic to hornets and wasps, yet growing beautiful flowers brings me joy; a clean and quiet space brings me peace, yet I love having a houseful of kids; and, I am also a yoga instructor, but I have really had to work on remaining mindful and calm myself.
