I enjoy working with children 5+, youth, young adults, and families to create a safe and supportive space to express freely and begin the healing process.
I have experience working with:
-
Addictions
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Foster Care, Adoption
-
Outburst Behaviour/Behavioural Concerns
-
Relationship challenges
-
Self-harm
With a background in Behavioural Therapy, I use solution focused, strength based, and trauma-informed approaches within my practice.
When working with younger individuals, I offer a variety of tools and exercises to prompt a deeper understanding of emotions, experiences, and coping abilities.
FOR CLIENTS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES & NEURODIVERGENCE
I believe therapeutic support is for everyone. If you or your loved one has received a diagnosis of an intellectual disability, developmental delay, prenatal exposure, ASD, or identifies as neurodivergent, I can’t wait to work with you!
I enjoy supporting families and their loved ones as they navigate the unique challenges connected to experiencing life with a cognitive disability-related diagnosis.
I am happy to adapt our sessions to your specific needs by using tools such as visual aids, in-session activities, or conversation prompts so you will feel comfortable expressing your feelings and experiences with me in whatever way feels best for you!
